In short
A good website quote lists what is built, what is not included, what you must provide, how long it takes, what you pay and when, and who owns the result. If any of these is missing, ask before you accept, because those gaps are where disputes start.
The checklist
- What you get: the pages, features and number of revisions, listed one by one.
- What is not included: for example photography, writing, stock images or extra pages.
- What we need from you: text, photos, logins and approvals, and by when.
- Time: start date, main steps and expected launch, with what could delay it.
- Price and payment: the total, the stages it is paid in, and recurring costs such as hosting and domain renewal.
- Ownership: who owns the domain, hosting account, design and content after launch.
- After launch: what support or updates are included, and what they cost.
Red flags
- A single price with no list of what it covers.
- Promises of a first-place Google ranking.
- No mention of who owns the domain.
- Pressure to pay everything up front.
Every ADA project starts with a written scope and price. Request a written quote, or read how we work on the process page.
