In October 2026, published starting prices for a business website in Namibia ran from about N$2,600 to about N$17,000 once-off, and for an online store from about N$4,700 to N$12,000. One-page starter sites cost less: ours starts at N$1,199.99. On top of the build, expect yearly costs for the domain name, and for hosting, email and maintenance where they apply.
Published prices compared
These are the “from” prices each company published on its own website on 5 October 2026. They are not like-for-like quotes: packages include different things, some prices exclude VAT, and some include a year of hosting. Use the table to see the range, then compare what is included.
| Company | Entry website | Business website | Online store | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ADA Web Division (us) | N$1,199.99 (one page) | N$2,629.99 | N$4,669.99 | Starting prices. Domain and paid email are separate. |
| Website Design Namibia | N$3,095 + VAT | N$3,795 + VAT | N$5,495 + VAT | Entry price is without hosting; business price is with hosting. |
| Wakaitu Web Solutions | N$4,800 (SME) | N$6,500 | N$12,000 | Also lists a corporate website from N$8,500. |
| WebPro (Namibia Web Design) | N$11,890 | N$17,280 | Not listed | Also lists a medium-to-large business website at N$22,690. |
Why the range is so wide
The price of a website follows the hours of work in it. These are the things that change the hours:
- Number of pages and how different they are. Ten pages using one layout cost far less than ten pages each designed separately.
- Who supplies the words and photos. Writing and photography are real work. Supplying your own lowers the price.
- Features. A contact form is simple. Bookings, payments, logins and stock are not.
- Design method. A site adapted from a template costs less than one designed from nothing.
- What happens after launch. Some prices include a year of hosting or support; some include none.
The yearly costs people forget
The build is a once-off. These come back every year, and they are usually paid to other companies:
| Cost | Typical amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Domain name (.com) | A few hundred Namibian dollars a year | We paid US$11.48 for a .com for its first year in October 2026. Renewal prices are often higher than first-year prices. |
| Domain name (.com.na) | About N$750 a year | As published by a Namibian hosting company in 2022 for local registrants. Confirm the current price with your registrar. |
| Hosting | From about N$50 a month | One Namibian provider lists hosting and domain from N$50 a month plus VAT. The amount depends on how the site is built. |
| Email on your domain | Varies by provider | Paid mailboxes are charged per user. |
| Maintenance | From N$349.99 a month with us | Updates, backups, security checks and small changes. |
| Payment gateway | A fee per transaction | Only if you take card payments online. |
What you should get for the money
Whatever you pay, the following should be included. If a quote leaves them out, ask.
- A site that works properly on a phone
- A secure connection (https)
- Contact forms that have been tested
- The basics Google needs to index the site
- The domain registered in your name
- All logins handed to you at launch
How to compare two quotes
- Ask each company to list what is included and what is not.
- Ask what you will pay every year after the build, and to whom.
- Ask who will own the domain and hold the logins.
- Open two websites each company has built, on your phone.
- Ask what a change will cost after launch.

Is the cheapest option a mistake?
Not necessarily. A new business with a simple offer is well served by a one-page site. The mistake is buying a small site and expecting it to do a large site's job, or buying a large site before the business knows what it needs. Start with what solves today's problem and can grow.
Our own prices, with what each includes, are on the pricing page.
